Overview
Alcohol manufacturers in the District of Columbia can apply to the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration (ABCA) for several types of permits and endorsements that allow the manufacturer to expand their operations.
Overview
Manufacturers, Wholesalers, Off-Premises Retailers, and On-Premises Retailers are required to operate free from the influence of each other. Accordingly, DC law restricts gifting, loans, and other types of transactions between licensees.
Complete and return a protest information form required for protest proceedings. The protest information form is not accepted in lieu of a protest petition.
Applications for alcoholic beverage licenses can be protested in the District of Columbia. The following chart provides a roadmap for the protest process.
