Overview

Between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. daily, permits the offering of cooking and how-to classes and demonstrations, and tastings for educational purposes. Must only be offered at the registered location.

Licensed Retailers only may apply.

Board Orders and Settlement Agreements may affect eligibility.

To Apply

Retailers must submit a Medical Cannabis Endorsement Application to add the permission to an existing license. View Application. 

Applicants seeking a new Retailer license may request the permission on their initial Retailer Application or submit a Medical Cannabis Endorsement Application to add the permission after license issuance.

Applications may be subject to a 45-day public comment period and ABC Board approval.

Valid Period and Fees

Endorsements are valid for the licensure period. An annual fee applies. See Fee and Renewal Schedule.

Of Note

• Educational activities involving the smoking of medical cannabis may only take place in an ABC-approved Safe Use Treatment Facility which requires a separate endorsement.
   
• Educational activities that include the smoking, administering, or consumption of medical cannabis are not permitted.
   
• Any medical cannabis used during the educational activity must be disposed of and cannot be given aways to attendees.
