To ensure that select on-premises retailers, common carrier, and caterer license holders have the necessary time to secure the required documentation for their alcohol license renewal application, which includes obtaining Certificate(s) of Clean Hands (CCH) for businesses and individuals, the renewal application deadline has been extended from March 31, 2022 to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2.

No late fees will be assessed for renewal applications during this 30-day grace period.

To apply for a CCH, licensees must visit mytax.DC.gov. Additional CCH questions may be directed to [email protected].

Licensees have the opportunity learn more about the CCH request process and compliance payment options during a joint Office of Tax Revenue (OTR) and ABRA information session on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Advance registration is required.
