Overview
Permits the same-day delivery of alcohol to consumers in the District by delivery companies on behalf of alcohol-licensed retailers and manufacturers.
Eligibility
Applicants must be a business that is registered to conduct business in the District and have a contractual agreement with an ABRA licensee to provide same-day delivery services using the internet, mobile application or similar technology platform, and uses its own employees or independent contractors.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
To Apply
Applicants must submit an Alcohol License Application and Third-Party Alcohol Delivery License Addendum which is included in the application packet.
Applications are subject to ABC Board approval.
Valid Period and Fees
Licenses of the same class and type expire on the same day regardless of issuance date. Licenses may be valid for up to three (3) years based on the relevant license cycle.
