Extended Hours - Art and Dine All Night, World Culture Festival

Registration is now closed.

Overview 

Allows alcohol licensed establishments to sell, serve, and permit the consumption of alcohol between 6:00 a.m.- 4:00 a.m. and operate 24-hours between Thursday, September 21, 2023, and end at 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2023, during these special events:

Eligibility 

On-Premises Retailers and Manufacturers with an On-Site Sales and Consumption Permit, and Temporary Licenses, are eligible.  

Settlement Agreements and Board Orders apply and may affect eligibility.  

Registration in ABCA’s Extended Holiday Hours Program do not extend to Dine All Night and Art All Night. 

Valid Period and Fees

Extended hours start the evening of the first day of the series—Thursday, September 21—and end at 4:00 a.m. on the last day—Sunday, October 1. 

ABCA is permitting eligible alcohol venues to submit registration forms with a non-refundable $100 fee until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023, which will cover the entire eligible licensure period.

The deadline for eligible applicants to submit a registration form with a non-refundable $100 fee was 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023. ABC Board approval is not required.  

Approval of extended alcohol service hours does not extend ABC Board approved entertainment hours. To modify entertainment hours, a Substantial Change Application must be submitted.  

Of Note

ABCA will issue a permit that must be displayed next to your alcohol license during the period of extended hours.  

A roster of approved establishments will be published on ABCA’s website and provided to the Metropolitan Police Department and ABCA Enforcement Division.
