Overview
Allows on-premises alcohol establishments to sell alcohol for carry-out and delivery accompanied by one or more prepared food items from their premises (address included on their alcohol license) to consumers located in the District between 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., daily.
Eligibility
On-Premises Retailers license holders and food retailers with commercial street frontage at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Board Orders and Settlement Agreement terms apply and may affect eligibility.
To Apply
All licensees, including those previously registered with ABCA, must have an Alcohol Carry-Out and Delivery Endorsement to be able to sell alcohol for carry-out and delivery. This application is only for licensees that did not register with the Board by March 31, 2021. Licensees already registered with ABCA by March 31, 2021, will not require ABC Board approval and should not complete this application.
Valid Period and Fees
The endorsement fee is $200 annually.
