(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Wednesday, the Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board unanimously determined to revoke pub crawl permits for the three events scheduled to take place in April 2020.
The decision was made in accordance with Mayor’s Order 2020-048: Prohibition on Mass Gatherings During Public Health Emergency – Coronavirus (COVID-19). The public health emergency for DC has been extended through May 15, 2020 as the District continues to fight the spread of COVID-19.
The permit revocation applies to the following events:

Hip Hop Bar Crawl 2020
Neighborhood: U Street -
April 25, 2020
DC Potter Crawl
Neighborhood: Dupont Circle -
April 25, 2020 and April 26, 2020
Margarita March
Neighborhood: Dupont Circle/U Street
All ABC-licensed restaurants, taverns, hotels, private clubs, multipurpose facilities, and food retailers with street frontage at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center continue to be restricted to sales of alcoholic beverages for carry-out and delivery with at least one (1) prepared food item. Advance registration with the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration is required by law.
