2025 Special Event Extended Hours

Overview 

Allows alcohol licensed establishments to sell, serve, and permit the consumption of alcohol between 6:00 a.m.- 4:00 a.m. and operate 24 hours daily during the following special events:

  • WorldPride 2025 | May 30 - June 9 
  • 2025 FIFA Club World Cup | June 18, June 22, June 26

Eligibility 

On-Premises Retailers and Manufacturers with an On-Site Sales and Consumption Permit, including Temporary Licenses, are eligible.  

Settlement Agreements and Board Orders may affect participation and eligibility. 

Registration in ABCA’s Extended Holiday Hours Program and previous special event application approvals do not extend to the aforementioned special events.  

Valid Period and Fees

The non-refundable registration fee is $100. 

Extended hours are only valid for the specified dates and times above for WorldPride 2025 and the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

To Apply

Licensees must submit the WorldPride 2025 and 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Form—with a $100 fee—by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.    

Of Note

ABCA will issue a permit that must be displayed next to your alcohol license during the period of extended hours.  

A roster of approved establishments will be published on ABCA’s website and provided to the Metropolitan Police Department and ABCA Enforcement Division. 

Registration in the standard Extended Holiday Hours Program does not bestow extended hour permissions for this additional period with the exception of Juneteenth, which occurs on the evening of Wednesday, June 18 until 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 19.
