On-Premises Retailers and Manufacturers with an On-Site Sales and Consumption Permit, including Temporary Licenses, are eligible.

Settlement Agreements and Board Orders apply and may affect eligibility.

Registration in ABCA’s Extended Holiday Hours Program and previous special event application approvals do not extend to the aforementioned special events.

Valid Period and Fees

Extended hours start the evening of the first day of the registered event and end at 4:00 a.m. on the last day of the event.

A fee of $100 covers the entire applicable licensure period. Please note that there are two separate $100 fees:

  1. To register for the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games
  2. To register for Art All Night and Dine All Night

The total fee to register for all four events is $200.  ABCA will provide a payment link upon receipt of your application to pay online by credit card.

To Apply

Applicants must submit an Extended Hours Registration Form by the following deadlines:

  • 2024 Summer Olympics and Paralympics Games | Thursday, July 25, 2024
  • Art All Night and Dine All Night | Thursday, September 26, 2024

ABC Board approval is not required. Please note that there are two separate registration forms:

  2. Art All Night and Dine All Night Registration Form

Both forms must be submitted along with the fee payment to participate in all four events. Licensees may alternately choose to participate in the extended hours program for the Olympics/Paralympics or the Art All Night/Dine All Night.

Forward applications to [email protected] and then ABCA will reply with a payment link to pay online by credit card.

Approval of extended alcohol service hours does not extend ABC Board approved entertainment hours. To modify entertainment hours, a Substantial Change Application must be submitted.

Of Note

ABCA will issue a permit that must be displayed next to your alcohol license during the period of extended hours.

A roster of approved establishments will be published on ABCA’s website and provided to the Metropolitan Police Department and ABCA Enforcement Division.
