To change a trade name for an alcohol beverage or medical cannabis license in the District.

To Apply

Applications can be submitted by mail, email or in person at ABCA's offices.

Along with an application, please submit a copy of your Trade Name Registration Certificate from the Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection (DLCP)

Valid Period and Fees

 The fee for a Trade Name Change – No Substantial Change Application is $50 for an alcohol license. It is $100 for a medical cannabis retailer, and $25 for a social equity medical cannabis retailer.
